One of earliest ancestors we have found on Eileen's side of the family was William Copsie who was probably born around 1640; his son, another William Copsie, was born in Margaret Roding, Essex, (alternative spelling Margaret Roothing), in 1662 the son of William and Ann.  William junior was an Ag Lab and he married Rose Noke in the adjacent parish of High Easter.  Their son Daniel, born in 1702, married Mary Lincoln and they had eight children, including another Daniel who married Mary White, and it is from this marriage that Eileen descends.  Mary White is the only person with this surname in our family tree.
