Will of Henry Bear.
In the name of God Amen. I Henry Bear of the parish of Lanreath in the County of Cornwall Renter, being of sound disposing mind memory and understanding do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament, in manner and form following, that is to say, First, I recommend my soul into the hands of Almighty God my Creator and my Body to be decently interred at the discretion of my executers hearin after named. I give my daughter Ann Hicks wife of Philip Hicks the sum of one pound one shilling to be paid within twelve months after my decease. I give unto my daughter Elizabeth Crago wife of Richard Crago the sum of one pound one shilling to be paid within twelve months after my decease. I give unto my son Thomas the like sum of one pound one shilling to be paid within twelve months after my decease. I give unto my son Henry the sum of five pounds to be paid within twelve months after my decease. I give unto my daughter Mary Stacy wife of James Stacy the like sum of one pound one shilling to be paid within twelve months after my decease. I give unto my son William the sum of five pounds to be paid within twelve months after my decease. All the residue and remainder of all my goods amd chattels as well as real and personel and everything else wheresoever the same be lying or being I give unto my dearly beloved wife and my son John whom I do hereby nominate and appoint whole and sole executers of this my last Will and Testament but be it still remembered after my wifes decease my son John to have the property for his own use and benefit and that my said executers paying all my Depts (sic) and legacys revoking and making void any will or wills heretofor made by me in writing whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the twenty-fourth day of August in the year of our Lord 1835.
